Our Story
Charlie’s Career Closet provides new or gently used business-professional and business-casual attire to USD students at no cost. These items are donated by USD faculty, staff, alumni and community professionals with the shared goal of helping students project a positive, professional image while attending job interviews, career fairs, class presentations and more. Alleviating the financial burden of professional attire has the power to be life changing and transformative to the students of USD, and could be the difference between getting a job, passing a thesis defense or standing out amongst other internship prospects. Investing in Charlie’s Career Closet is an excellent opportunity to support the next generation of leaders, an act that goes beyond giving students free clothing. Our trained staff and volunteers provide a clean, safe, on-campus space where students can express their individuality while finding the confidence and self-worth they deserve.
