Unite for USD Ambassador 2026

Ambassadors are key to the success of Unite for USD. They help spread the word about Giving Day through social media and personal outreach, and research shows that donors are twice as likely to give when asked by someone they know. Ambassadors expand our reach and amplify our message in ways that traditional marketing cannot match.

Ideal Ambassador candidates include alumni, key donors, engaged volunteers, community members, faculty, staff, board members, and student leaders, anyone with influence or reach.

What’s In It for Ambassadors

We want Ambassadors to feel appreciated and equipped.

  • Welcome Gift: Upon signing up, the USD Foundation will send each Ambassador a small thank-you package to help them get started.
  • Achievement Reward: When an Ambassador inspires five confirmed gifts, they will receive a USD/Twins commemorative jersey as a special recognition of their impact.

    • How Ambassadors Sign Up

      1. Go to the Unite for USD sign up form: Ambassador 2026 – Fill out form
      2. After signing up you will get an email or text confirming your interest.
      3. Ambassadors will receive an email from the Unite for USD platform (GiveGab) to create an account (check your spam/junk folder)
      4. Once logged in, they can generate a custom URL to share with their network
      5. Their URL allows them to track the number of donors and gifts that they inspire. 

    Who Should Sign Up
    Everyone! Alumni, donors, friends, families, faculty, staff, and board members.
    We especially encourage unit staff who run social media or email campaigns to sign up so they can track their channel’s direct impact.
